ZEISS is excited to announce the evolution of APEER into arivis

APEER by ZEISS is now evolving into arivis, as the two products come together into an expanded product line to better serve customers. APEER has been a major player in microscopy image analysis for the past five years, making deep learning accessible to everyone. The company's AI tools are visualization-centric, and their cloud infrastructure has enabled academic and industrial researchers to improve the throughput of their respective image analysis experiments through collaboration and sharing. APEER has collaborated with arivis since its launch five years ago, using arivis core visualization technology. In 2022 ZEISS completed the arivis acquisition, enhancing their scientific image analysis capabilities for 3D and big image data. This acquisition provides an excellent opportunity for APEER and arivis products to join forces.

APEER will become arivis Cloud

Starting April 2023, all data-agnostic software from ZEISS will be available under the ZEISS arivis name, with APEER becoming arivis Cloud and the Machine Learning toolkit will be renamed arivis AI. This change will streamline both software families, offering AI-powered analysis for scientific images of all sizes and dimensions. Despite the new name, customers can rest assured that the high-quality performance and support they have come to expect from APEER and arivis will remain unchanged.

The rebranding will happen in phases throughout 2023, with name and logo changes first, followed by web and product experience changes. The company will keep its users informed with regular updates. Thank you for being our partner in this exciting journey.
